Master Key System Haanel Wrote: The Power of Thought To Improve Yourself

I am again greatly impressed by the wealth contained in the Master Key System Haanel wrote.
I don’t think all of the content & benefits can ever be completely extracted from this material!!

The preface of The Master Key emphasizes the power of thought. The power of thought is the creative activity behind every constructive enterprise. Nothing is of more practical value than our thoughts. Creative thought requires attention. Attention develops concentration and concentration develops spiritual power.

In the mastery of this there is opportunity for unending progress – If we are not moving forward we are moving backwards. Improve yourself and move forward.  It’s the choice of heroes and successful people alike.

Master Key System Haanel Wrote – The Power of Thought Gives Great Results

MKMMA Week 26 – Finishing up, and back to week 6 – Great stuff!

I enjoyed this course so much I’m already in reviewing mode. Week 6 of the Master Key System Haanel wrote said this about the power of thought: Attention of concentration is probably the most important essential in the development of mind culture and is the distinguishing characteristic of every successful man or woman.

Then again, the power of thought is pointed out in the statement in wk 24 master Key lesson: To train the mind to see truth only is to express true conditions only. Our ability to do this will be an indication as to the progress we are making.

Speak of progress! I do notice the ease with which I can concentrate on those things that I not only want to be true in my life, but those which ARE becoming true! The subconscious reprogramming I received in the MKMMA is showing up, and the flow towards my Definite Major Purpose is speeding up. It feels great. Onward, upward, continuing this experience with the Master Key System Haanel wrote and the scientifically-based exercises for continuing my journey!

Master Key System Haanel Wrote Proves Influence of The Power of Thought on the Subconscious Mind

MKMMA WEEK 25

While browsing through some old hymnals on YouTube, I came across one that had the verse as follows: “My heart has no desire to stay where doubts arise and fears dismay; Though some may dwell where this abounds, my prayer, my aim is higher ground..”

This really resonated with me after reading and rereading week 24 of the Master Key System Haanel wrote. It brought out the power of thought by saying: Creative power is impersonal and your ability to think is your ability to control it and make use of it for the benefit of yourself and others.

Listen to this with only the subject of personal growth development in mind if you wish. It’s too good to leave out, it’s great!

Item 30 states that those who are wise enough to understand, broad enough to weigh the evidence and firm enough to follow their own judgment and strong enough to make the sacrifice expected, may enter and partake.
Week 12 of the Master Key System Haanel wrote states, “Eternal vigilance is the price of success.” Eternal vigilance of what? Of our thought, of course, since the power of thought is so well proven in the pages of the Master Key and the power of thought is what programs our subconscious mind.
In week 9 it says that character is not a thing of chance but a result of continued effort. One place says the conscious mind is the gatekeeper for the subconscious mind. In my experience, dwelling on negative thoughts almost always produced mistakes and oversights on the job or at home. My aim and desire is higher ground! With the MKMMA I have attained this much of the time, and I continue to have that as my aspiration at all times.

MKMMA Week 24-Our Mental Diet programs the Action of the Law of Growth

I believe I remember mark J mentioning that each time he reads The Greatest Salesman In The World it’s an enlightening experience. A couple of days ago, I commented to my wonderful wife that I am looking forward to going back and reading ALL of the weekly Master Key lessons again. They are a very healthy mental diet. Each Master Key lesson helps perpetuate the law of growth in a productive way. (What ever we think about grows).

law of growth

In the Master Key System Haanel wrote, week 22 item 1 accurately states that knowledge is of priceless value, because by APPLYING knowledge we can make our future what we wish it to be.
Realizing that our present character, present environment, present ability and present physical condition, are all the result of past methods of thinking and applying what knowledge we had, we begin to have some conception of the value of knowledge and a healthy mental diet.
Master Key week 23 items 8 & 9 contrast the difference between the financier who seldom lets anyone else do his thinking for him so the results will be secured, and the average person who is entirely innocent of any deep thinking and accepts the ideas of other and repeats them much the same way as a parrot.

law of growth, mental diet The financier uses creative thinking, which requires attention and does the mental labor required for success. Some of the most successful people I know personally were and are a demonstration of these virtues of the law of growth incorporated with the proper mental diet and application of their knowledge.

Mental Diet Success-Choosing from the Daily Smorgasbord of Events Increases My Positive Mental Attitude

MKMMA Week 23

Every thought creates an impression on the brain. Impressions create mental tendencies, tendencies create character. Ability and purpose and the combination of character, ability and purpose determines the experiences we shall meet in life. This is certainly true, because I recognize patterns and tendencies that I have acquired from childhood that must change to enjoy a much higher degree of fulfillment & success. One of these is just taking whatever comes along, without choosing it.  I’m now changing this tendency by applying what I have learned.  Knowledge is power, but we must use the knowledge.positive Mental AttitudeAfter over 20 weeks of the master Key Master Mind Alliance, I have recently noticed songs on the radio that lack any appeal to me…not because of offensive messages or language, but the negative mental energy the songs convey are not items found appetizing while on a mental diet for a positive mental attitude. I’m encouraged that I have developed this awareness that will help me to keep my mental diet. It makes it so much easier to have a positive mental attitude when my subconscious mind is not being ‘fed’ the wrong things.Mental Diet, Positive Mental Attitude
If we go out to eat, we can select not only the establishment
but the items from a menu or items on a smorgasbord.

Mental Diet Positive Mental Atittude

When we go grocery shopping its our privilege & responsibility to select the items we put in our grocery cart. Yes, we pay at the checkout, but we pay or reap the benefits or consequences many more times after we partake of the things we have selected from ourselves.

Each day we have a smorgasbord of items for our mental diet. I choose the items for a positive mental diet so my positive mental attitude will be maintained and increased!

Week 22: Success Through a Positive Mental Attitude and Changing Habits

The Master Key System week 21 seemed very timely, reiterating and re-enforcing foundational unused principles that are effect of our predominant thoughts and mental attitude. I appreciate the honesty found in item 14– that positive mental attitude is no easy matter. Neither is changing habits. It requires persistent effort.
Item 6 says large ideas have a tendency to eliminate all smaller ideas so that it is well to hold ideas large enough to counteract and destroy all small or undesirable tendencies. Positive mental Attitude and changing Habits

This will remove innumerable petty and annoying obstacles. You also become conscious of a larger world of thought, thereby increasing your mental capacity as well as placing yourself in position to accomplish something of value. I think of Rudy’s determination and

positive mental attitude in the face of criticism from well meaning loved ones, and destructive criticism from jealous nay-sayers . I loved his persistence and the persistence of those who came to appreciate Rudy and who were there with tough love and admitting their own struggles when he needed it most.

Rudy often committed to do ‘whatever it takes’—and that was shown in Rudy’s success through a positive mental attitude and his willingness in changing his habits (study habits). I look at my press release & DMP and realize the same principles apply there. Whatever it takes—and I’m sure that includes the positive mental attitude and willingness of changing habits. It’s in the process, and I’m putting persistent effort into it. I’m changing my habits in the way I think–instead of thinking small, my DMP has some very large things in it.

MKMMA Week 21: Changing Habits with the Mental Diet

mental diet and changing habits
Week 20 Master Key states, “The spirit of a thing is that thing; it is necessarily fixed, changeless, and eternal. The spirit of you is you; without the spirit you would be nothing.”
It becomes active through your recognition of it and its possibilities. The one and only condition of spiritual power is use or recognition. A later statement in the master keys is: “As long as you remain oblivious to the power which has been placed within your control, you limit yourself to superficial conditions. “

We can be oblivious of the impact of our thoughts on our experience and wonder why we experience what we do; or we can begin to pay attention to our thoughts and put ourselves on a mental diet. This mental diet consists of noticing negative thoughts when they come in and canceling them (since a thought is eternal until unthought or canceled.) Then choose a thought that is more empowering immediately to replace that negative thought. This begins to make changing habits easier too, because thoughts definitely influence our habits.

On last week’s call we were told that average is the worst of the best and best of the worst. That’s not a category I’m interested in being in. So I’ve recommitted to the mental diet for changing habits for me. If our mental attitude isn’t the essence of our spirit it certainly is a reflection and indicator of our spirit. Changing our mental attitude often requires changing our mental diet and the changing habits as to how we respond to conditions and people around us.

MKMMA Week 20: Utilizing a Positive Mental Attitude and the Law of Substitution for Subconscious Reprogramming

positive mental attitude, law of substitutionThe importance of our thinking & having a positive mental attitude was again driven home in the preface of The Master Key Week 19.  I have become aware that having a positive mental attitude, including having gratitude and thankfulness, are prerequisites for opportunity and success.   When our thoughts are negative and there is no gratitude in sight, we do not see opportunities,   nor do we find it as easy to see what success we do have.  Now as I have been having a more positive mental attitude, and focusing on gratitude, it has obviously begun to do some subconscious reprogramming.  I don’t have to focus on it as much – it just comes more natural to me now.

Week 19 Master Key also reminded me of what we learned earlier in the Master Key about the Law of Substitution.  As we were beginning the process of subconscious reprogramming, we were encouraged to notice when we had a negative thought and then to immediately use the law of substitution–substitute a different thought instead.  Week 19 also stated that to overcome fear is to become conscious of power.  This too demonstrates the law of substitution. “resist not evil” meaning turn from it and think about something else instead.  I have become aware that positive thoughts, including  gratitude and thankfulness  are a perquisite for opportunity and success.  As was pointed out earlier character is the result of continued effort, if we choose positive thoughts positive results, if we choose negative thoughts negative results.  With persistence diligence we are using subconscious reprogramming to change our lives.

MKMMA Week 19: Invent Your Future with Clarity of Purpose and the Secret Power of the Mind

It is the recognition of the natural laws that has enabled us to a soar in the air and to make iron float. (Master Key Week 18) The secret power of the mind, and clarity of purpose are natural laws that bring about what we are focusing on. It truly does give us the keys of what makes the inventions of man possible. Untold attempts (some even fatal) to fly were tried for many years, yet the desire to fly was never snuffed out by the closed minded or naysayers. Every creation of man and every new invention started with the secret power of the mind and clarity of purpose to attain their desire.

It was those who recognized, observed, and worked with these natural laws rather than ignoring or resisting the laws that succeeded. Through persistent, intelligent research and trial and error they achieved their dreams.

The Master Key Master Mind Alliance has helped me to go beyond just the understanding of what the Master Key itself contains because of all the enhancements made with the exercises and information given to us on the webinars. Just what is the secret power of the mind? Knowing that what we think and the words we speak are powerful – so powerful, in fact, that when we believe, what we believe gives us feelings of having it, and then we have it! Our thoughts, desires, and feelings are the cause of everything in our lives, whether it is perceived as good or bad. When we have clarity of purpose and of what we want, and focus on it that is what we get!

The Master Key System–Subconscious Reprogramming with Positive Daily Affirmations

MKMMA – Week 18 Master Key Mind Alliance

What a wise strategy, Mark J and Davene, to have us go back and review some of the previous lessons. Great to be renewing some points, and I was surprised at brand new awarenesses from the previous material.

One thing I was impressed with in the analogy of the battleship was that there is so much more below the surface than above the surface.  This is an analogy of how important it is to do subconscious reprogramming, because it is the large part of our mind under the surface.  While the readily visible is impressive and appreciated, the behind the scenes (or below the surface) happenings are monumental in comparison.

One excellent example of how to move toward a definite major purpose was bullet number 24 of the week 9 of the Master Key System.  Frederick Andrews use positive daily affirmations to attain his definite purpose and desire to be whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious, and happy after describing himself as being a little, crooked, twisted, cripple.  He used those things he desired as positive daily affirmations and received his most prized desire.  I am purposing to focus on my DMP with the same intensity of desire that Frank had that allowed him to manifest his definite major purpose.   This MKMMA course is changing me unlike anything else I’ve ever done, giving me ways to implement what I’ve learned so my subconscious reprogramming continues.
